Closure is painful, but it's for the best!

The other day we talked. I feel like it is one of the few progressive conversations we have had in a long time.

I am making visible steps to move on, and I made it clear that I admire her strength in doing the hard work of finding her happiness on her own.

Love your neighbor as yourself...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

If I love her I must let her go, and trust that God will take care of her and me. Some days that is so hard, but I just have to give it back to Him.
